Free Steam System Energy Saving Upgrades
Introduced in Febuary 2017, ConEdison has launched a limited program for low-income housing buildings to implement FREE (labor and material) energy saving upgrades for 1-pipe steam systems.
This program will only be available to the first 150 buildings that qualify. There is NO COST to the building.
These are upgrades that are valued at $10,000 – $50,000+ depending on building size and need and can save 10% – 20% on your heating bill!
As a contractor selected by ConEd to implement these upgrades, Building Efficiency Services is able to help qualify buildings and offer the best chance to benefit from these free upgrades.
Basic Eligibility
- ConEdison firm gas customer
- Affordable Housing Property*
- One-pipe steam heating system
* Most low-income can qualify. Ask for details.
No Cost Upgrades
- Boiler clean & tune
- Master Venting
- Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV’s)
